REPORTING TO PARENTS/CAREGIVERS

During the year parents/caregivers can respond to two invitations to meet with their child's teacher. The initial meeting is usually early in the New Year and is an opportunity for an informal meeting in which information regarding your child is shared. Mid-year parent-teacher interviews are held with the discussion focused by the summary sheet sent home prior to the interview.

A written report is given at the end of the year.

If you have any concerns regarding your child's progress, you are encouraged to make contact with the classroom teacher either directly or requesting an appointment through the office.

KEEPING INFORMED

The school sends out a newsletter every Friday. We also have a community noticeboard in the foyer, which contains minutes of the BOT and PTA meetings, as well as other notices relating to health and community events.

TELEPHONES

The most convenient time to contact teachers is between 3.10 and 3.30 pm, except on Tuesday which is staff meeting time.
